You will work closely with our Production, Assembly, and Procurement teams to ensure components meet requirements and are delivered on-time. Your responsibilities will also include the development design and analysis documentation, technical specifications, and assembly procedures.</span></div><br><br><h3>What you'll do:</h3><ul><li>Drive production drawing releases and revisions to meet manufacturing and assembly schedules</li><li>Collaborate with internal Quality, Manufacturing, Assembly, Commissioning, and Procurement teams on requirements and documentation</li><li>Perform structural and thermal calculations, ranging in complexity from first principles hand calculations to FEA</li><li>Rapidly design, test, and qualify prototypes </li><li>Prepare reports and presentations as requested </li><li>Be self-motivated and exhibit excellent problem-solving skills</li></ul><h3>What we’re looking for:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, or another relevant field</li><li>5+ years of experience designing structural components in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Experience with CAD software (NX preferred) and analysis software (ANSYS Workbench preferred)</li></ul><h3>Must-have Requirements: </h3><ul><li>Willingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionally</li><li>Perform activities such as typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time</li><li>Ability to work in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics</li></ul><br><div><span style="font-size:10px;">#LI-Onsite</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">At CFS, we excel in fast-paced environments, driven by our values of integrity, execution, impact, and self-critique.
