Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the role As an Operations Centre Supervisor, you’ll be the steady hand ensuring Contact’s generation assets are offered, dispatched, monitored, and scheduled for optimal performance. You’ll use real-time systems to keep everything running safely and efficiently, adapting to changing conditions and making decisions that maximise value and minimise risk.You’ll:<ul><li>Operate Contact’s generation assets safely using real-time SCADA and other systems.</li><li>Schedule and dispatch assets within hydrological and legislative constraints, optimising fuel efficiency and plant capability.</li><li>Analyse market and environmental behaviour to spot opportunities for improvement and financial gain.</li><li>Support and coach your team, helping others reach their full potential.</li><li>Work closely with key team members to proactively manage issues and support Contact’s strategy.</li><li>Monitor environmental and plant conditions, ensuring compliance with the Resource Management Act (RMA) and other regulations.</li><li>Lead by example in health and safety, creating a safe environment for everyone.</li></ul>
