We’re a fast-growing, tech-driven movement rethinking how nature can heal — and how data can help it do so faster.</p><p>Founded in Germany in 2022, Mission to Marsh merges <strong>ecology, innovation, and entrepreneurship</strong> to restore the world’s most powerful yet overlooked ecosystems: <strong>wetlands and peatlands</strong>. These living sponges <strong>store more carbon than all forests combined</strong>, filter our water, and shield communities from droughts and floods — but over 95% are degraded. We’re here to change that.</p><p>Our flagship project <strong>Smart Oasis</strong> builds the <strong>first Digital Twin for peatlands</strong> — a real-time, data-driven model powered by sensors, drones, remote sensing, and AI. It translates invisible ecological processes into actionable insights, allowing policymakers, landowners, and restoration teams to make smarter, faster, climate-positive decisions.
