We’re seeking a creative and mission-driven Multimedia Producer to help tell the stories of our partners, grantees, and initiatives across the globe. This role combines strong visual storytelling with technical expertise to produce compelling photo and video content that inspires action and showcases the impact of our work on people and the planet.  The ideal candidate is experienced working on multiple platforms, passionate about environmental and social issues, skilled in translating complex ideas into engaging visual narratives, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key ResponsibilitiesStorytelling and Production:<ul><li>Capture powerful visual stories that highlight the Earth Fund’s programs, grantees, and impact in areas such as nature conservation and restoration, food systems, decarbonization, and sustainable cities. </li><li>Produce high-quality videos and photographs for digital platforms, social media, events, and internal communications. </li><li>Plan and execute shoots—including pre-production, lighting, sound, directing, and post-production. </li><li>Edit content into short-form and long-form pieces suitable for various platforms, maintaining brand and messaging consistency. </li></ul> Creative Collaboration:<ul><li>Work closely with the digital manager, nature team lead, and head of events to develop visual strategies that align with campaign objectives. </li><li>Collaborate with subject-matter experts, program leads, and partners to tell stories that are accurate, authentic, and impactful. </li><li>Support live and virtual events with photography and videography coverage. </li></ul> Asset and Equipment Management:<ul><li>Maintain an organized digital asset library of all photo and video content. </li><li>Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment (cameras, drones, lighting, and audio gear). </li><li>Ensure all assets are stored and shared in line with brand and data management protocols. </li></ul> Innovation and Impact:<ul><li>Stay current on emerging trends and techniques in multimedia storytelling, particularly those advancing environmental communication and sustainability narratives. </li><li>Bring a creative lens to projects, helping the Earth Fund continually improve the way it communicates visually about the climate crisis and solutions.</li></ul>Performs other duties as assignedQualifications <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Photography, Multimedia, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience). </li><li>5 years of professional experience in videography and photography, ideally within mission-driven, environmental, or nonprofit organizations. </li><li>Demonstrated expertise with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop). </li><li>Strong technical skills in lighting, sound, and camera operation. </li><li>Proven experience managing all stages of production, from concept to delivery. </li><li>Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong eye for composition, narrative, and emotional storytelling. </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and partners. </li><li>Willingness to travel for field assignments, events, or grantee storytelling projects.</li></ul>Skills and Abilities<ul><li>Deep interest in climate, nature, sustainability, and/or equity. </li><li>Experience working in international contexts or documenting communities and projects in the Global South. </li><li>Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and/or French (a plus).</li><li>Drone videography and FAA certification (a plus).</li><li>Experience producing multimedia content for digital and social platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, and Linkedin.</li><li>A portfolio that demonstrates creativity, versatility and understanding of global environmental storytelling.</li><li>Experience working with news media.</li><li>Ability to manager multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.</li><li>Ability to navigate and make decisions in situations of ambiguity, adapting quickly and maintaining focus on goals despite shifting priorities or incomplete information.</li></ul>Physical Requirements and Working Conditions<ul><li>Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li><li>May require extended hours for urgent issues or to meet established deadlines.</li><li>This hybrid position is located in Washington, D.C.</li><li>May undertake domestic and/or international travel (50% of the time).</li><li>Ability to frequently lift and carry objects weighing 30 pounds or more.</li></ul>Closing Date: November 4, 2025Salary Range: $115,000- $ 140,000This is a paid position.
