Reporting to the Manager, FP&amp;A, the Senior Analyst, FP&amp;A will perform a range of financial duties as part of the team and autonomously within the CFO Organization of the Arevon.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Budgeting and Forecasting: FP&amp;A’s primary responsibility is to connect senior management’s long term “strategic plan” to reality. This person will help support this top-down, senior management driven document that will set high-level targets (revenue, net income, core strategic initiatives, etc.) for Arevon from 1-5 years in the future. FP&amp;A’s job is to develop the operating and financial plan required to achieve management’s strategic plan.</li><li>Ownership of financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives.</li><li>Decision Support: use data to advise management on decisions such as how to improve performance, minimize risk or capture new opportunities from within Arevon.</li><li>FP&amp;A is charged with providing a Monthly Reporting Package in addition to other periodic reporting packages to senior management which include:<ul><li>Analysis of historical financials</li><li>Variance explanations</li><li>An updated forecast with risks and opportunities to current plan Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)</li><li>Ad-hoc business performance reporting</li></ul></li><li>Improve business intelligence tools and dashboard reports.</li><li>Ownership of Income Statement for assigned projects.</li><li>Support management team and the Heads of Department with data-driven analyses.</li><li>Ability to work autonomously with little supervision while continuously ensuring alignment with the team and organizational goals.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in Finance, Accounting, and or FP&amp;A.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related fields, master’s degree a plus.</li><li>Working knowledge of financial statement analysis under the U.S. GAAP framework.</li><li>Working knowledge of building and reviewing 3-Statement financial model.</li><li>Proven record of working well within a team environment, taking ownership of processes and procedures.</li><li>Excellent people skills, initiative-taking and results oriented, process oriented with strong  organizational and communication skills.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience in modeling financing transactions with emphasis on project finance including debt and tax equity.</li><li>Advance modeling skills using excel, macros, power query etc.</li><li>Experience using business intelligence tools such as PowerBI and SQL.</li><li>Relevant work experience with a renewable energy company, a nationally ranked public accounting firm, or a PE firm.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of NetSuite and related accounting information systems, or related applications. </li><li>Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications in renewable energy space.</li><li>Professional certification, including but not limited to CPA and CFA, at various levels.</li></ul>Why Join Arevon?
