<h2>Overview</h2>The Role The Marketing Manager at Califia Farms is an exciting, diverse and autonomous role reporting directly to the General Manager, Europe. We require a creative and enthusiastic individual who is happy doing everything from launching new products, to building customer presentations, reporting on our monthly retailer performance or posting on our social channels. No two days are the same. Having a small team there is a requirement for the Marketing Manager to often pitch in and help on other areas of the business from time to time! As such you need to be a team player – working collaboratively with a cross functional team in the UK and the US. The ideal candidate will have management experience.  The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and delivery of all Califia’s marketing in the UK, with sole responsibility for our customer and consumer communications. The role will also be integral in supporting the team with category insight and analysis working in conjunction with a category consultant. The role will have one line report.  This is a varied marketing and category role which incorporates the full 360 marketing mix with a focus on supporting the wider business in achieving its ambitious growth targets for FY24. <h2>Responsibilities</h2>Your Responsibilities<ul> <li>Develop and implement innovative and cost-effective marketing strategies to support the business goals</li> <li>Drive brand awareness to attract new audiences / shoppers</li> <li>Spearhead the development and execution of brand plans, including P&amp;L oversight, to establish a leading premium brand identity</li> <li>In conjunction with our co-manufacturing partners and US team develop and bring to market NPD pipeline</li> <li>Plan and manage trade events to drive customer and consumer awareness and trial</li> <li>Conduct commercial performance analysis (e.g., promo and category insight)</li> <li>Support on customer range reviews ensuring that we are leading with a shopper and category first approach</li> <li>Working with sales to build customer tailored support plans for OOH and Retailer</li> <li>Management of a brand manager and external category consultant </li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2>Your Experience You will have at least 5 years of brand management experience, ideally within the food or beverage industry, in a role with line report management. Any FMCG experience would be advantageous – ideally you will have worked for a challenger brand / medium size business that operates in both OOH and retail. Comfortable using Epos / Circana and Kantar data. Ideally you will have experience in stakeholder management. A Successful Candidate For This Role Will Be<ul> <li>Creative and full of ideas – we need someone who is dynamic and will create innovative and strategic ways to engage with our customers and audiences </li> <li>Strategic and agile thinker / planner – thinking differently about how we disrupt the plant-based milks/ drinks category</li> <li>Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage time and workload effectively </li> <li>Results-driven relationship builder with a dynamic and creative approach to a fast growth business environment</li> <li>Team player – someone willing to get stuck in </li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul> <li>University degree preferred</li> <li>Ideally a CIM qualification </li> <li>Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in FMCG (ideally food or beverage) </li> <li>Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment</li> <li>Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a proactive and constructive manner</li></ul> Certificates, Licenses, Registrations<ul> <li>Full Driving license</li></ul> Work Environment<ul> <li>3 days a week in the Richmond Office and International travel as required</li></ul>
