In this role, you will ensure safety protocols are followed on project sites and managing projects from procurement to commissioning while providing technical support and maintaining customer satisfaction. Additionally, responsibilities include overseeing project teams, managing project finances, coordinating logistics, and advocating for customer needs within the company.Job Description:<ul><li>Responsible for your own safety, and shared responsibility for the safety of all Nextpower staff, contractors, and visitors to your project sites. A good understanding of WHS principles and safety management is required </li><li>Read, understand, and comply with Nextpower company policies and procedures </li><li>Responsible for managing groups of Projects from PO execution through Commissioning and taking ownership of all aspects of your assigned Projects </li><li>Potential to manage 1 or more direct reports to effectively manage a set of customer portfolios</li><li>Responsible for overseeing the success and development of any direct reports</li><li>Provide technical support for Nextpower customers, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience and providing product and systems expertise to the customer </li><li>Develop and maintain technical understanding of Nextpower PV solar tracking systems and associated tools </li><li>Ensure a strong customer care experience and be able to effectively communicate resolutions for customer issues </li><li>Coordinate the ordering of tools and ensure availability of tools and training for assigned Projects </li><li>Manage Project P&amp;L including revenue forecasting, invoicing, cash flow and cost management </li><li>Provide customer field support for installation and quality control, including driving resolution to quality issues by Non-Conformance Report and Construction Deviation Report processes </li><li>Coordinate and drive the successful on-time delivery of all products needed from PO to delivery, liaising with Design Engineering, Supply, Logistics, freight forwarders and the customers. </li><li>Establish, measure and report key performance indicators for customer care to drive behavior and performance </li><li>Play a key role in cross-functional product teams, providing recommendations based on systems integration expertise and customer needs </li><li>Supports product development, sales, and marketing as requested </li><li>Acts as the internal customer voice and advocates for the customer within Nextpower</li></ul>Here is some of what you will need (required)…<ul><li>Minimum 3-5 years of PM experience gained in either energy, construction, mining, or oil &amp; gas fields</li><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience required </li><li>Strong project management skills and qualifications </li><li>Excellent customer service skills </li><li>Experience interfacing with supply chain procurement and logistics </li><li>Experience in and talent for dealing with customer support and O&amp;M issues </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Demonstrated leadership capabilities </li><li>Passion for solar or renewable energy </li><li>Knowledge of PV technology and its applications </li><li>Hands-on experience with photovoltaic tracking solar systems a plus.</li></ul>At Nextpower , we are leading in the energy transition, providing the most comprehensive portfolio of intelligent solar tracker and software solutions for solar power plants, as well as strategic services to capture the full value of solar power plants for our customers.
