What will you be responsible for?<ul><li>May be required to work from heights, in confined spaces, and in environments containing, respiratory radiological, chemical, electrical, and mechanical hazards</li><li>Maintain and repair items such as compressors, valves, motors, pumps, turbines, hydraulic systems and generators</li><li>Carry out quality predictive maintenance, preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance, to ensure reliable system operation and ensure the equipment is in a good state of repair</li><li>Perform equipment surveillance as required. Perform post maintenance monitoring and testing of equipment.</li><li>Commission and decommission new equipment and systems and adjust, calibrate and inspect as per commissioning plans.</li><li>Provide feedback to technical staff regarding the condition of the equipment through dismantling, inspection and re-assembly in accordance with established procedures</li><li>This work may be performed on a twelve hour, rotating shift schedule</li></ul>Education and Experience<ul><li>Candidates require an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent as recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Education</li><li>Candidates that hold more than (1) Certificate of Qualification are an asset</li><li>Work experience on process equipment and systems in a related industry is considered an asset</li><li>Candidates must hold a valid Ontario or Interprovincial License in one or more of the following trades;</li></ul><ul><li>Millwright</li><li>Steamfitter</li><li>Boilermaker</li><li>Pipefitter</li><li>HVAC</li><li>Ironworker</li><li>Tool and Die Maker</li><li>Machinist</li><li>Welder</li></ul>Candidates MUST attach a copy of their Certificate of Qualification(s) to their application.  Candidates that do not provide proof of CofQ will NOT be considered.Are you ready for a change?Please complete the online application and attach a cover letter and resume, indicating your education and experience as it relates to this opportunity.
