Strong leadership and relationship-building skills will be essential as you drive engagement and team alignment.  </div><div><ul><li>Champion a Zero Harm safety culture, ensuring compliance with Vinidex Pathways to Safe Work and ISO standards. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Lead, mentor and coach a 50+ team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Drive operational excellence through Lean and 5S principles, focusing on safety, quality, cost, and delivery. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Oversee production planning, shift handovers, tier meetings, and SAP reporting to ensure accurate and timely performance tracking. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Resolve complex manufacturing issues through root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ensure SOPs are followed, and training is delivered to maintain high standards and reduce risk. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Collaborate with tooling, maintenance, and engineering teams to optimise equipment performance and reduce downtime. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Lead initiatives to improve recyclate usage, reduce scrap, and support new tooling and product development. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Build strong relationships across shifts and departments to ensure consistent messaging and team alignment. </li></ul> </div><div>What You’ll Bring  </div><div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Mechatronics preferred). </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>3–5 years of leadership experience in a fast-moving heavy industrial manufacturing   environment in Plastic (preferred), Steel, FMCG. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Demonstrated experience using computer systems, specifically MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), SAP experience (advantageous). </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Technical and strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to analayse and solve complex manufacturing problems. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Proven experience in safety, project management, continuous improvement, including lean manufacturing knowledge and implementation (preferred).  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong leadership and people management skills and experience in coaching and mentoring both skilled and unskilled labour, to develop and get the best out of the team. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Highly effective planning and organisation skills, with excellent time management, and coordination skills, have a sense of urgency, results focused. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to make quick decisions and build stakeholder and customer relationships. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Able to work autonomously as part of a team with a collaborative style, is positive, resilient, innovative and challenges the status quo. </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Thrive in fast-paced environment, safety-focused, and bring a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset to everything you do. </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Why Join Vinidex?
