Position OverviewApollo is seeking an Associate to join our Global Family Office (GFO) coverage team in our Hong Kong office. This newly created role will ideally suit a high performing junior investment banker or alternatives sales / wealth management executive looking to support our coverage efforts of leading Family Offices &amp; Businesses across Asia Pacific (APAC). Our offices in APAC span 6 key countries / locations: Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney, Mumbai, and Seoul.GFO sits within GWMS, a vertically integrated sales channel within Apollo’s broader Client &amp; Product Solutions (CPS) ecosystem designed to provide individuals and their advisors access to a growing range of wealth management solutions across yield, hybrid, equity, and retirement services that go beyond the public markets. The individual will partner closely with the GFO &amp; GWMS team to drive coverage of leading Family Offices &amp; Businesses in the region, execute regional sales strategy, working in close partnership with the APAC Head of Global Wealth Management and other regional leaders, while also maintaining connectivity with counterparts across the US and EMEA on joint initiatives.Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>Alongside the head of APAC GFO, develop and cultivate relationships across Family Offices &amp; Businesses by being a thought partner, capital solutions provider and custodian to the wealthiest families in the region.</li><li>Prepare presentation materials covering capital formation, co-investments, capital solutions (M&amp;A, financing) and strategic investments.</li><li>Manage firm data requests, maintain investor sales pipeline, and own Salesforce activity for the GFO team.</li><li>Provide timely support to GFOs for Apollo products.</li><li>Assist team leadership with presentation materials, memos, and internal reporting request.</li><li>Providing excellent and professional client service, always representing Apollo’s core values.</li></ul>Partnering closely with:<ul><li>Head of APAC Global Wealth Management, Global Head of Family Office, and Head of EMEA Family Office to manage relationships with leading Family Offices &amp; Businesses in APAC.</li><li>Broader Asia capital formation teams on fundraise strategy and execution in the region.</li><li>APO investment teams to provide a full solutions approach to families and family businesses across both their investing and financing needs.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>2-5 years’ experience in investment banking, wealth management, or family offices in Singapore or Hong Kong</li><li>Solid corporate finance (M&amp;A, financing), financial product knowledge, experience in alternatives is a plus</li><li>Great attention to detail, responsible person with strong work ethic</li><li>Be able to stretch into any area and take ownership of delegated tasks to support team’s goals</li><li>Interest in client facing role with potential to becoming coverage officer, understand collaboration in a global firm</li><li>A multi-tasker that can prioritize and manage their time effectively</li><li>Team player, culture fit for Apollo; Maintain high level of professionalism and integrity</li><li>Experienced working in an international organization and willingness to be flexible with hours as part of a global firm</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Salesforce/CRM.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written English communication.</li><li>Additional Asian languages preferred: Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Bahasa.</li></ul>ABOUT APOLLOApollo is a high-growth, global alternative asset manager.
