This internship will support transportation projects and teams.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Supports planning studies and reports for new and updated plans and programs.</li><li>Collects a variety of statistical data and prepares reports and maps on topics, such as census information, land use, roadway network, crash records, and asset inventories.</li><li>Works with the planning team to conduct equitable public outreach, preparing materials and presentations</li><li>Analyzes data and prepares detailed maps for use on thematic maps and in reports.</li><li>Conducts concept-level evaluation of transit/transportation improvement options.</li><li>Documents and presents findings on transit/transportation planning projects.</li><li>Researches current transportation-related topics at local, State, and Federal levels.</li><li>Assists with other duties assigned by senior staff and/or Project Managers.</li><li>This position will involve planning and project development activities for transportation projects under the supervision of more senior staff.</li></ul>   Additional information· Sponsorship not provided for this position now, or in the future
