Purpose for this role:To develop necessary artwork for various mediums (print, digital, outdoor), understand the requirements, manage the deliverables, and liaise with external suppliers to communicate production details and ensure quality.Job Responsibilities:Adherence to the brand:<ul><li>Ensure that all design jobs adhere to MASDAR’s visual brand guidelines.</li><li>Develop, enhance, edit and finalize any amendments to the brand guidelines.</li><li>Develop new logos, advert, artworks based on new projects and initiatives that are launched and develop brand guidelines.</li><li>Ensure that all jobs, photos, logos, collateral etc. are properly archived in the system.</li></ul>Development of creative:<ul><li>Brainstorm with the team and think creatively to produce new concepts and mocking up design ideas.</li><li>Present ideas and adjust concepts to achieve the desired communication goals of the collateral produced.</li><li>Remain abreast and knowledgeable of the latest design programs and coordinate with the ICT departments.</li><li>Ensure development of collateral including but not limited to brochures, flyers/HTML, animation, mailers, outdoor branding, signage, promotional materials, advertisements…etc.</li></ul>Management of design jobs:<ul><li>Establish production timelines and delivery schedules that meet agreed upon delivery requirements, working with other agencies or other vendors to complete the final product.</li><li>Ensure that design jobs are delivered in a timely manner with the highest quality possible.</li><li>Coordinate with various designers within the organization to ensure that no work is duplicated and that production of design jobs is optimized at all times within MASDAR.</li></ul>Contribution to stakeholder relations:<ul><li>Build and maintain a network of relevant contacts to support daily activities and long-term objectives of the team.</li><li>Engage with and monitor relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure adequate knowledge transfer and completion of services as per agreed parameters.</li></ul>Compliance with standards and forms<ul><li>Apply consistent approaches/discipline and standardized forms in line with relevant policies, processes and procedures.</li></ul>Preparation of relevant updates and reports<ul><li>Processes and procedures.</li><li>Preparation of relevant updates and reports</li><li>Prepare relevant reports and updates as required and to the desired standard.</li><li>Provide management information as and when required by the line manager – this includes the production and timely provision of accurate reports in line with reporting schedules.</li></ul>Compliance with information security policies, procedures and requirements at all times:<ul><li>Adhere to any applicable Masdar information security policies and procedures and identify and report security incidents and suspected weaknesses to the appropriate point(s) of contact.</li></ul>
