The Senior Team Lead will be responsible for two (2) Value Stream Departments.YOUR IMPACT<ul><li>Responsible for the assigned product(s) between the four walls of the plant including mid-term planning for required parts, tools, and human resource coordination</li><li>Actively manage workflows and set mid-term plans</li><li>Manage work on the production floor as well as ensure upcoming jobs are ready for a successful production start</li><li>Ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost objectives are met for assigned value stream</li><li>Lead daily management processes and ensure 5 why root-cause evaluation and counter measure are applied and documented; these results will serve as the primary means to measure performance</li><li>Utilize active management skills to balance resource needs in responsible areas and maximize contributions from team members</li><li>Monitor team member progress on assigned tasks to ensure schedule adherence and escalate as soon as it is determined that a delay will occur</li><li>Monitor attendance and tardiness of team members including punctuality of breaks and time away from work centers</li><li>Support the manager with employee relations as required</li><li>Ensure relentless continuous improvement is being implemented using A3, Kaizen events, and other problem-solving techniques</li><li>Coordinate, develop, support and complete standard work &amp; standard operating procedures (SOPs) </li><li>Adapt and respond to changing situations or circumstances by implementing temporary corrective actions to shield customers from problems</li><li>Oversee pace board process, standard work, and error proofing for assigned value stream</li><li>Coordinate and support the recruitment &amp; selection of the work force, performance assessment for area team members, work assignments and recognition/disciplinary actions for employees in the assigned value stream</li><li>Ensure team is properly trained, resourced and supplied to perform their work functions</li><li>Provide coaching and advocates for additional resources when requirements are identified</li><li>Manage schedules and staffing requirements based on determined priorities</li><li>Review and submit timecards / payroll for the value stream</li><li>Follow progress of production in department, anticipate or investigate major causes of delays, and ensures that corrective action is taken</li><li>Coordinate priorities with other leads and managers to guarantee workflow with other areas / departments</li><li>Compile and report actual team performance results vs. established goals</li><li>Value Stream process mapping and plan implementation</li><li>Document current state and plan future state conditions with required actions / changes</li><li>Develop and implement continuous improvement principals to enhance work processes and outputs</li><li>Utilize Voice of Customer Feedback to evaluate and enhance processes</li><li>Monitor department expenses, primarily cost of labor and supplies, to remain within budget guidelines and looks for / implements cost saving solutions</li><li>Monitor certain supplier invoices and approve per established authority limits</li><li>Maintain a cost effective, yet flexible production area, which can effectively meet and achieve internal and external customer requirements</li><li>Collaborate with internal Quality Manager</li><li>Follow and enforce Safety, Health, Environment, and Hazardous Waste Rules and Responsibilities</li><li>Understand ISO requirements and help maintain compliance</li><li>Possess basic knowledge of Syteline (ERP systems), Microsoft office, and Adobe</li><li>Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree preferred, or minimum 5 years of relevant previous work experience in a leadership role in an Operations environment </li><li>3 to 5 years’ experience in a Lean Enterprise </li><li>Must be a take charge leader capable of grasping the scope of departments’ responsibilities and possesses the resourcefulness to leverage resources to understand and identify performance impediments, find solutions, and implement improvements</li><li>Ability to consider many variables (resources, constraints, sequences, and timing) to formulate a plan for success</li><li>Ability &amp;
