This is a critical infrastructure project with significant public impact.<br>Work on a high-profile infrastructure project as part of a global team, using continuous improvement methodology and innovative technology which enable us to leave a genuine legacy.</p><p><br><b>The Opportunity</b></p><p></p><p>Reporting to the Senior Manager, Health, Safety, Environment &amp; Sustainability on the Southern Program Alliance (SPA) the Sustainability Lead is responsible to manage all the Sustainability aspects of the Alliance and promote a greater understanding of sustainability within the wider team and leadership to the Sustainability team to foster a strong sense of team and provide value to the Alliance<br> </p><p><b>Key Responsibilities </b></p><ul><li>Identify, develop &amp; implement project sustainability objectives and targets in line with legislative and contractual requirement, inclusive of an ISC Rating</li><li>Develop and implement the Project's Sustainability Management Plan including assisting in developing and maintaining the Sustainability budget.</li><li>Manage the sustainability risks on the program or ensure sustainability data is captured </li><li>Ensure sustainability data is captured in accordance with the SPA Management System and responsible for regular reporting to parent companies</li><li>Costs and forecasts are accurately tracked and prepared for applicable costs codes used by the Sustainability team</li><li>Assist in the development and management in the Sustainability team</li></ul><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:left;"><b>Required Skills and Competencies</b></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><ul><li>Tertiary qualification in Engineering or <span>Environmental Science or similar</span></li><li><span>Ideally 6 years in an Environment role post Graduating with minimum of 3 years in a senior role.
