The dynamics engineer will support both component and vehicle-level modal testing and associated analyses.  Finally, they will collaborate with the Certification team to ensure aeroelastic analysis and design methods align with certification requirements and drive component and aircraft-level test definition.</span></div><br><br><h3>How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation</h3><ul><li>Lead aircraft aeroelastic analysis in areas including flutter, whirl flutter, control reversal, and divergence</li><li> Develop mass and stiffness representative structural FEM for to support dynamic analysis</li><li>Support development of dynamic analysis processes and results for vertical flight loads</li><li>Conduct aeroservoelastic analysis on fly by wire flight controls systems</li><li>Work with system teams such as Structures and Flight Controls to develop requirements from dynamic analysis results</li><li>Lead component and vehicle-level modal test definition and execution, including structural coupling tests</li><li>Use test results to drive updates to structural FEM and updated requirements for structures and flight controls systems</li><li>Use a multidisciplinary understanding of aircraft design to proactively identify areas for improvement in design and analysis</li></ul><h3>Minimum Qualifications </h3><ul><li>Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field</li><li>At least 3-5  years of experience in aircraft dynamic analysis and testing</li><li>Experience in the use of industry standard dynamics analysis software such as NASTRAN, FEMAP, etc.</li><li>Experience with aerodynamic analysis methods of varying fidelity (panel methods, CFD, etc.)</li><li>Experience with MATLAB, Python, and CAD tools (CATIA, SolidWorks, etc.)</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li></ul><h3>Above and Beyond Qualifications </h3><ul><li>Experience with dynamic analysis in vertical flight with analysis tools such as RCAS, particularly for novel aircraft configurations</li><li>Experience leading development and execution of aircraft Ground Vibration and Structural Coupling tests</li><li>Experience with vibration analysis and requirements development</li><li>Experience as a FAA Designated Engineering Representative (DER)</li></ul><br><div><span style="font-size:18px;"><b>Build electric airplanes with us!</b></span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">We encourage all driven candidates to apply, even if they do not meet every listed qualification.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">We are an equal opportunity employer.
