We believe strongly in the need to demonstrate the safety of our Autonomous Vehicles, so that people can ride with confidence.  Simulation-based testing is a big part of our strategy to achieve this.  We are looking to add an experienced Lead Simulation Engineer to our Product Safety organization.<h1>Essential Responsibilities</h1><ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Lead a team of engineers in developing simulation tests to validate the May autonomous driving software's performance and safety</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Collaborate with systems, safety, testing, and autonomy engineering teams to ensure simulation coverage of common and rare driving scenarios and ODD elements</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Drive traceability between simulations and scenario and ODD database</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Analyze simulation results to identify performance trends, uncover potential issues, and provide insights for improvements</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Coordinate with Testing and Validation team to ensure simulation results are consistent with real-world testing</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Develop methods for evaluating simulation performance against safety performance indicators </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Identify and drive improvements to simulation technology and infrastructure </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Establish and oversee processes for high-quality simulation development.</li></ul><h1>Skills and Abilities</h1>Success in this role typically requires the following competencies:<ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Strong understanding of autonomous driving technology</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Demonstrated experience with autonomous vehicle simulation platforms</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Ability to prioritize and plan complex deliverables</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Willingness to adapt role and responsibilities to respond to changing simulation needs</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical teams</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Familiarity with product and software life cycles</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Comfortable continuously learning new software and workflows</li></ul><h1>Qualifications and Experience</h1>Candidates most successful in this role typically hold the following qualifications or comparable knowledge or experience:Required<ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">B.S.
