Role SummaryThe Brand Designer (Contract) at Renew Home will play a key role in supporting an array of design efforts through thoughtful, high-quality execution. You’ll collaborate closely with design leadership and cross-functional partners to bring our brand to life across a variety of experiences.This is a contract role for a multidisciplinary designer who’s excited to execute across a range of design projects—from go-to-market campaigns and digital assets to presentation materials and data visualizations. You’ll be someone with a sharp eye for detail, strong visual taste, and a passion for maintaining consistency and quality in every deliverable.What You Will DoBrand systems &amp; visual storytelling<ul><li>Leverage and elevate Renew Home’s brand system, ensuring consistency and innovation across digital, product, and go to market experiences.</li><li>Create high-impact visual expressions that simplify complex topics, including energy industry concepts, data insights, and product value propositions.</li><li>Develop complex yet elegant data visualizations, illustrations, images, and other visual assets that bring Renew Home’s story to life.</li></ul>Cross-team collaboration<ul><li>Partner closely with design, marketing, product, and BD to ensure cohesive brand expression across a variety of experiences.</li><li>Work cross-functionally with product marketing, business development, design leadership, and other stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into compelling visual solutions.</li></ul>Tools &amp; innovation<ul><li>Work fluently in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Notion, and Google Suite to develop and share design solutions.</li><li>Integrate AI tools into your workflow to enhance creativity, efficiency, and innovation in design processes.</li></ul>Communication &amp; presentation<ul><li>Confidently articulate design decisions and present creative work to diverse audiences, including stakeholders.</li><li>Contribute to Renew Home’s broader creative vision by sharing insights, exploring trends, and pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>3+ years of design experience.</li><li>A standout portfolio demonstrating excellent design work and interest in pushing trends.</li><li>Expertise producing strong design deliverables, both big and small, that thoughtfully ladder up to business objectives.</li><li>Willingness to sweat the details.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in contributing to large scale initiatives like brand systems, websites, campaigns, and bd enablement collateral. </li><li>Experience in supporting brand vision with strong taste, capable of elevating and simplifying complex narratives through impactful visual storytelling.</li><li>Top communication skills to clearly articulate and discuss your design work.</li><li>Fluency in Figma, Adobe CC, and Google Suite. </li><li>Already integrating AI into your workflows.</li><li>Low ego, loves to jam with the team, and an open mind. </li><li>Experience working with remote teams across different time zones.</li><li>Bonuses:</li><ul><li>Experience working in the energy industry or at the intersection of consumer hardware and software products.</li><li>Experience working at startups.</li><li>Experience crafting design elements and storytelling specifically for bd enablement materials.</li></ul></ul>Benefits<ul><li>This is a contract position with a six month duration.
