<div><div>We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the successful execution of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Working closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent, subcontractors, and clients, the APM plays a key role in managing project documentation, communication, scheduling, and financial tracking. This role is ideal for someone who has prior experience as a Project Engineer or similar, and is ready to take on greater responsibility in project delivery.  Key Responsibilities: Project Administration: <ul><li>Manage and track project documentation including: </li></ul><ul><li>RFIs </li></ul><ul><li>Submittals </li></ul><ul><li>Change orders </li></ul><ul><li>Contracts </li></ul><ul><li>Meeting minutes </li></ul><ul><li>Maintain accurate and organized records in project management systems (e.g., Procore or equivalent). </li></ul><ul><li>Ensure timely communication and coordination with design teams, owners, and subcontractors. </li></ul>Scheduling &amp; Coordination: <ul><li>Assist in developing and updating the project schedule using Primavera P6 or similar. </li></ul><ul><li>Track and coordinate material deliveries and long-lead items. </li></ul><ul><li>Participate in and lead coordination meetings, both internal and external. </li></ul><ul><li>Work closely with the Superintendent to align field activities with the schedule. </li></ul>Cost &amp; Budget Management: <ul><li>Support PMs in preparing owner billings, subcontractor payments, and budget reports. </li></ul><ul><li>Monitor project costs and support monthly forecasting and cost-to-complete analysis. </li></ul><ul><li>Assist with procurement, subcontract issuance, and change management. </li></ul>Field &amp; Quality Support: <ul><li>Perform periodic site visits to monitor progress, safety, and compliance. </li></ul><ul><li>Assist in punch list coordination, QA/QC, and project closeout documentation. </li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. </li></ul><ul><li>2–5 years of construction experience, ideally with a general contractor. </li></ul><ul><li>Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and specifications. </li></ul><ul><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar systems strongly preferred. </li></ul><ul><li>Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul><ul><li>Understanding of safety protocols and commitment to a safe work environment. </li></ul> Preferred Traits: <ul><li>Strong attention to detail and follow-through. </li></ul><ul><li>Proactive problem solver and collaborative team player. </li></ul><ul><li>Comfortable interfacing with clients, consultants, and subcontractors. </li></ul><ul><li>Eagerness to grow into a full Project Manager role. </li></ul> Career Path: Successful APMs typically transition into Project Manager roles with increased ownership of schedule, cost, and client relationships. </div></div>
