Summary The CDL driver is responsible for operating a tractor-trailer on a specific route to service accounts in handling the transport for our product and service. Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities <ul><li>Perform DOT required pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily</li><li>Safely and courteously operate a CMV and all equipment, including pallet jacks, lift gates, and handheld devices</li><li>Prepare accurate documents, counts, and product preparation. This includes marking bags, building pallets and product grouping</li><li>Load trucks, insuring all items are counted, loaded, and properly secured</li><li>Learn and understand product information, company operations, and sorting procedures, and communicate this to retailers and customers</li><li>Completion of weekly tasks in allotted amount of time.</li></ul> Education/Experience <ul><li>High School diploma or GED</li></ul> Requirements – Skills, Job Knowledge &amp; Abilities <ul><li>A valid CDL class A driver's license and acceptable driving history is required</li><li>Ability to pass DOT drug screen prior to employment</li><li>General knowledge of air brakes, fifth wheels, and combination vehicles</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of OBRC operations and service areas is preferred</li><li>Ability to communicate professionally at all levels with internal and external business partners</li><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently throughout the day</li><li>Professional demeanor in both attitude and appearance</li></ul> Supervisory Responsibility <ul><li>None</li></ul> Benefits and Perks<ul><li>Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.</li><li>401(k) with 100% match on employee deferrals up to 4% of compensation. 50% match on deferrals between 4%-6%</li><li>Generous PTO plan and 6 paid holidays annually.</li></ul> Travel <ul><li>Daily local travel</li></ul> Qualifications

Through our BotttleDrop Redemption Centers and partnerships with retailers, we collect nearly all the containers redeemed in Oregon, return deposits to consumers, and provide a high quality source of recycled raw materials for manufacturers. We are a not-for-profit cooperative business made up of over 150 Oregon beverage distribution companies. Our workforce of more than 500 employees provides a fast, easy, and accountable system for recycling beverage containers. And, just as Tom McCall envisioned it more than 45 years ago, we deliver a cleaner, greener, Oregon at zero cost to taxpayers. We are a growing company with a track record of innovation. In just the last year, we've added 14 more locations for people to return their empties, while also expanding capacity at our processing plants so that we can accommodate higher recycling rates and more container types with redemption value. We will continue to expand in the future with even more locations, new partnerships to help raise money for non-profit community groups, and new programs that will build on our leadership in container recycling.</div>
