This role will be for a 6-month period and would support the Group Tax Senior Manager on Corporate Tax matters across EMEA, including group and statutory tax provisioning over the year end period, and Pillar II implementation support.The role will suit a candidate with a solid UK Corporate Tax Background that has focused on EMEA and international issues.Role Responsibilities:<ul><li>Support of the Group’s consolidated tax reporting year end process, including preparation of yearend tax provisions and supporting schedules for entities within UK and EMEA, journal bookings to ensure that all tax implications of the tax compliance processes are correctly reflected in the accounts of the business.</li><li>Timely and accurate preparing of tax disclosures for the UK statutory accounts and subsidiaries in the EMEA region.</li><li>Support for the implementation of Pillar 2 (global minimum tax), including tracking notifications and local requirements across EMEA.</li><li>Preparation of UK tax returns to a high standard, within agreed timetable.</li><li>Analysis of UK corporate tax technical matters, such as CFC review, CIR and loan relationships, and drafting technical memos.</li></ul><ul><li>Support senior members of the tax team in responding to requests from the tax authorities and business, including tax residency and withholding tax forms.</li><li>Work closely with other colleagues in the Finance and Operations teams to enable them to efficiently support the work of the Tax team.</li></ul>Experience / CompetencesEssential<ul><li>6+ years of UK Corporate Tax compliance and reporting experience.</li><li>Strong UK Tax technical skill set and experience for large companies &amp; consolidated groups.</li><li>Tax accounting skills, including knowledge of IFRS.</li><li>ACA or ACCA qualified.
