<div>Zoox is seeking a Test Engineer to design and develop test solutions for the compute platform powering our autonomous vehicles. In this role, you will create and implement tests for key components of our compute system, including server-grade computer assemblies, custom PCIe devices, and PC components such as storage and memory. The ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet critical deadlines is highly valued.</div><br><br><h3>In this role you will: </h3><ul><li>Build and release test solutions for use on the manufacturing lines at Zoox and at contract manufacturing partners</li><li>Develop testing scripts and code to verify functionality, control test instruments, capture test parameters, and analyze results for continuous improvement</li><li>Work cross-functionally to implement the correct test coverage across all phases of manufacturing (PCBA, module, system, vehicle)</li><li>Release updated test programs for new generations of hardware and software</li><li>Support the test and validation of prototype designs</li><li>Establish best practices and drive continuous improvement for improving test deployment, test runtime, and yield</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>BS in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, or equivalent technical degree</li><li>8+ years of industry experience or equivalent</li><li>Knowledge of manufacturing and testing electronic assemblies</li><li>Experience in testing of complex electronic assemblies, such as server-grade computers and sub-assemblies</li><li>Experience with manufacturing tests of PCIe devices such as GPUs, network cards, and NVMe drives</li><li>Strong knowledge of Python and shell (bash) scripting. Experience with other programming languages, such as C++ or C#, is beneficial</li><li>Experience with the Linux platform - debugging failures using command line tools </li></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications</h3><ul><li>MS in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, or equivalent technical degree</li><li>Knowledge of automotive protocols such as CAN and hardware interfaces</li><li>Experience with high-speed links such as GMSL</li><li>Strong expertise in PCIe troubleshooting - especially with GPUs and similar electronic assemblies</li></ul><br><div><b>About Zoox</b></div><div>Zoox is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting ecosystem required to bring this technology to market.
