If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.</div></div><p>The Jr. Chassis Hardware Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for providing support to daily operations, reviewing the quality issues that are being called out in the quality gates, reviewing the failure mode, and reporting them to the right stakeholders.<span> </span></p><p>Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. She/he must have the ability to work with various departments across the General Assembly. They will also be required to work closely with engineering, quality, and suppliers in various aspects of the overall manufacturing process. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are an absolute requirement to establish effective working relationships within the company and outside.<span> </span></p><p>You will:<span> </span></p><p>· Day-to-day coverage of the production line, including rapid response to out-of-control processes<span> </span></p><p>· Investigate and identify defects reported by the quality gates<span> </span></p><p>· Perform regular audits to verify and confirm standard adherence for critical processes (fixtures, adhesives, torque rollers, special sequence, etc.)<span> </span></p><p>· Perform initial assessment for the issues reported in the line such as part assembly into the e-cube (for part confirmation), assembly/disassembly process (for assembly confirmation), part swap (AB-BA), etc.<span> </span></p><p>· Support with the implementation of process changes to improve process quality and flow (PCR’s)<span> </span></p><p>· Generate and maintain comprehensive Quality Reports (QUAL) when required to support effective Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes, driving continuous improvement.<span> </span></p><p>· Prepare, submit, and oversee Engineering Deviation Requests (DEVREQ) to address non-conformities or implement temporary changes while ensuring compliance with engineering standards for manufacturing/process related issues.<span> </span></p><p>· Provide inputs for process enhancements and contribute to continuous process improvements<span> </span></p><p>· Monitor in real time the quality indicators of the assigned areas, to provide feedback to workstation<span> </span></p><p>· Create and maintain quality alerts related for the ‘Critical To Quality’ processes and to the repetitive quality issues of the assigned areas<span> </span></p><p>You bring:<span> </span></p><p>· High School diploma, GED or equivalent<span> </span></p><p>· Minimum (1) year of experience working within automotive or manufacturing<span> </span></p><p>· Hands-on troubleshooting skills for resolving assembly issues or process inefficiencies<span> </span></p><p>· Skilled with common workplace software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)<span> </span></p><p>· Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills<span> </span></p><p>· Ability to use measurement devices such as calipers, flush gauge, gap gauge, and rule.<span> </span></p><p>· Availability for occasional off-hours calls<span> </span></p><p>· Excellent communication skills, written and verbal<span> </span></p><p>Physical requirements are listed below but not limited to :<span> </span></p><p>· Standing-Frequent/Intermittent up to 8 hours per day<span> </span></p><p>· Walking-Frequent/Intermittent up to 8 hours per day<span> </span></p><p>· Sitting-Occasionally/Intermittent up to 2 hours per day<span> </span></p><p>· Lifting to 50 lbs. occasionally/Intermittent<span> </span></p><p>· Carrying up to 50 lbs. occasionally/Intermittent<span> </span></p><p>· Pushing/Pulling between 50-100 lbs. occasionally/Intermittent</p><div> </div><div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
