For Indonesia Associate Researcher: You Will:<ul><li>Conduct policy-relevant technical research to understand the environmental and energy impact of the road transport sector in Indonesia;</li><li>Identify the best practice design and implementation of supply-side regulations, fiscal incentives, and energy infrastructure to support Indonesia’s net zero carbon goals;</li><li>Communicate your findings to government officials, private industry and civil society through clear presentations, technical reports, newsletters, blogs, op-eds, and other outreach activities in both Bahasa and English;</li><li>Represent the ICCT in public and private meetings with external stakeholders, including government officials, non-governmental organizations, academics, and industry;</li><li>Collaborate with an international community of researchers including ICCT staff and international partner organizations;</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul> You Have:<ul><li>A graduate level degree in any science, technology, or engineering-related field, including at least three years of relevant research experience;</li><li>Interdisciplinary training or professional experience that includes transportation, energy, economics, international affairs, public health, public policy, or environmental science;</li><li>Demonstrated the ability to design a research project, collect relevant data, construct or apply an analytical tool, and draw conclusions from the data;</li><li>Strong writing and public speaking skills, including the ability to communicate technical information and policy details to a non-technical audience;</li><li>Strong proficiency with data analysis tools, such as Python or related programming language.</li><li>Familiarity with Indonesian policy-making processes.
