This individual will play a key role in managing inventory, analyzing financial performance, tracking costs, and partnering closely with Operations Managers to drive efficiency and profitability across locations. </p><p> </p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Oversee commodity inventory review and accounting management across multiple sites.</li><li>Perform month-end closing, financial statement review, and variance analysis.</li><li>Review weekly performance and cost trend reports for assigned locations.</li><li>Lead multi-location, multi-state accounting operations and ensure consistency in processes.</li><li>Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives through data-driven analysis.</li><li>Conduct monthly operating reviews with Operations Managers; create and follow up on actionable financial improvement plans.</li><li>Develop and monitor budgets, perform trending analysis, and resolve financial variances.</li><li>Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multi-location or manufacturing/service environment.</li><li>Prior supervisory experience required.</li><li>Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.</li><li>Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, and trend analysis.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel skills required) and accounting systems.</li><li>Experience in the manufacturing, recycling, or related industries preferred.</li></ul><h3><strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits</strong></h3><ul><li>Competitive total compensation package</li><li>Paid vacation, holidays, and sick days</li><li>Benefits effective after 60 days (first of the month), including:</li><li>BCBS Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance</li><li>Voluntary Life Insurance</li><li>Short-Term Disability</li><li>Company-sponsored Life and AD&amp;D Insurance</li><li>401(k) plan with company match</li><li>Employee Assistance Program</li></ul><div>Salary Description</div><div>$70,000-$80,000</div>
