He/she manages end-to-end sourcing activities for the RFI (Request for Information) and RFQ (Request for Quotation) process, starting from the analysis of transport requirements, ending on the awarding of the business for execution. Additionally, he/she manages the spot quotations for urgent shipments and negotiating potential invoice disputes with suppliers in case of escalations.How you’ll make an impact:<ul><li>You will execute the regional TT&amp;L strategy for Sourcing project and Supply Base Management.</li><li>You will prepare FTL / LTL Overland and Domestic General Cargo Trucking RFQ's by working closely with internal stakeholders, data analysis and external suppliers.</li><li>You will monitor performance with global KPIs, and drive corrective actions where needed. </li><li>You will manage the General cargo suppliers and closely follow up their status in Transport Management System.</li><li>You will drive strategies, implement targets and standards/processes for the business in order to improve cost and maximize spend value. </li><li>You will manage RFI and RFQ process for general cargo from consolidation and verification of demands and requirements, including the end-to-end RFI and RFQ execution with suppliers,</li><li>You will do submission of award proposals up to the signature of contract and implementation into SAP Ariba</li><li>You will manage the Spot Sourcing process for Air, Ocean, Road and other logistics categories, as one of the main responsibilities of the position.  </li><li>You will drive special projects in the region in accordance with global TT&amp;L Strategy. </li><li>You will support escalations for Sourcing issues to business during execution phase of the transports. </li><li>Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.</li><li>Living Hitachi Energy’s core values safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.</li></ul>Your background:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics Management, International Economics, Business or equivalent knowledge or experience.</li><li>High level Knowledge of Middle East, Africa, Turkey and India Logistics market especially FTL, LTL General cargo trucking transportation and Global Sea and Air transportation.</li><li>More than 5 years of experience with Logistics, especially FTL and LTL General cargo trucking transportation.</li><li>More than 2 years’ experience in sourcing Logistics transport products, Overland and Domestic FTL and LTL general cargo trucking transportation services and Global Sea and air transportation services sourcing.</li><li>Knowledge of transport methods, rules and regulations, costs, and benefits.</li><li>Experience with sourcing and benchmarking tools. Advanced desktop computer skills including PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and Outlook are required.</li><li>Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Good Project Management skills. Drive to find solutions to complex logistics problems.
