You’ll focus on finding and engaging exceptional talent, developing strategies to reach hard-to-find candidates, and ensuring a thoughtful introduction to our mission. You will be part of a growing team that values curiosity, bold thinking and collaboration.Note: This is a contract role and will be on site at one of our Bay Area offices.<h2>Responsibilities:</h2><ul style=""><li>Source and engage passive candidates for highly technical roles (engineering, physics, R&amp;D, hardware/software, etc.).</li><li>Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and define sourcing strategies.</li><li>Build and maintain talent maps, market insights, and pipelines for critical skill sets.</li><li>Craft personalized outreach to spark interest and represent our mission authentically.</li><li>Maintain data integrity in our ATS and share pipeline insights.</li><li>Act as an ambassador for our culture and values, ensuring a positive first touchpoint for candidates.</li><li>Contribute to projects that enhance sourcing effectiveness and overall hiring efforts.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications:</h2><ul style=""><li>2–4 years of experience in sourcing or recruiting.</li><li>Strong research and sourcing skills with expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other sourcing tools.</li><li>Skilled at writing compelling outreach that earns high response rates.</li><li>Curious, resourceful, and relentless about finding the right talent.</li><li>Thrives in a startup or high-growth environment where priorities can shift quickly.</li></ul><h2>Preferred Skills:</h2><ul style=""><li>Passion for clean energy, deep tech, or mission-driven industries.</li><li>Experience sourcing talent for startup or high-growth environments.</li><li>Experience sourcing talent for aerospace, energy, or advanced manufacturing sectors.</li></ul><h2>Benefits:</h2><ul style=""><li>Industry-competitive salary</li><li>Equity plan</li><li>6% employer 401k matching</li><li>Generous paid time off (including sick leave, vacation, paid family leave)</li><li>Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance</li></ul>Actual base salary offered will be determined by: experience, skills, and work location.
