<h3>Position Overview</h3>The Car Runner / Detailer is responsible for transporting vehicles, maintaining cleanliness and appearance standards, and ensuring all vehicles are ready for delivery or presentation. This position supports daily operations by handling pickups, deliveries, and detailing tasks with attention to safety, efficiency, and professionalism.The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and has a passion for cars and customer satisfaction.<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>Vehicle Transportation &amp; Support<ul><li>Safely drive, pick up, and deliver vehicles to and from service, client locations, or storage facilities.</li><li>Move vehicles between departments, parking areas, and designated sites as directed.</li><li>Maintain vehicle logs and document mileage, fuel, and condition during transfers.</li></ul>Detailing &amp; Presentation<ul><li>Perform thorough cleaning, washing, waxing, and interior detailing of vehicles to meet high presentation standards.</li><li>Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and maintenance needs before and after each trip.</li><li>Maintain detailing supplies, inventory, and cleanliness of work areas.</li><li>Apply protective treatments, vacuum interiors, clean upholstery, polish chrome, and ensure all surfaces are spotless.</li></ul>Operations &amp; Maintenance Support<ul><li>Assist in fueling, checking fluid levels, and reporting any maintenance or mechanical issues.</li><li>Support the team with vehicle organization, lot management, and preparation for client delivery or events.</li><li>Follow all safety policies, traffic laws, and company vehicle procedures.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.</li><li>Previous experience as a detailer, porter, or car runner preferred.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.</li><li>Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles (preferred).</li><li>Excellent time management, communication, and customer service skills.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors in various weather conditions.</li></ul>
