<div><div>This role plays a pivotal role in elevating site operations and service provision to maintain a safe, efficient, and well-kept working environment. Covering a broad scope of activities, the Facilities Coordinator will enhance operational performance and contribute directly to the organization’s strategic success.  Job Purpose  Reporting to the Head of Facilities, this role is focused on optimising facilities operations and site services to ensure a well-maintained and effective workplace. This role gives the opportunity to oversee facility maintenance and improvements, coordinating soft services, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.   By aligning service provision with user requirements and experience, the coordinator will contribute to the organization’s overall success, driving continuous improvement, reducing operational risk, and directly impacting strategic initiatives.  Responsibilities  <ul><li>Coordinate office moves, lab expansions, and infrastructure reconfigurations with stakeholders to optimize layouts for productivity, safety, and collaboration </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate across departments to align facility services with organizational needs </li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate contractors and service providers working around site to ensure excellent service delivery minimize disruption to business operations </li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate preventive maintenance programs and emergency repairs with external providers </li></ul><ul><li>Work with H&amp;S Manager to ensure compliance with local, national, and industry-specific regulations  </li></ul> Requirements  <ul><li>Highly organised, customer-focused and hands-on mindset. </li></ul><ul><li>Detail-oriented proactive and committed to operational excellence. </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.  </li></ul><ul><li>Understanding of Facilities Management and Health &amp; Safety systems, processes and procedures within the workplace.  </li></ul><ul><li>Experience of site maintenance, soft services, and office infrastructure. </li></ul><ul><li>Good awareness of manual handling considerations and physically able to move / lift equipment up to and including 50kg in a safe, compliant manner. </li></ul> Further Information  <ul><li>Job Location – Norwich UK, On-site </li></ul><ul><li>Time Requirement – Full Time  </li></ul><ul><li>Contract – Permanent  </li></ul><ul><li>Closing date – 3rd November </li></ul></div></div>
