We are also operating Sweden’s largest truck dedicated public charging network and counting.Your mission as a Principal System Owner is to design the sensor suite that produces clean, reliable, time-aligned data; so our Autonomous Driving software can build and run with confidence on every vehicle.You will own:<ul><li>Compute architecture: Design the computer systems for different vehicles.</li><li>Performance sizing: Figure out how much computer power, memory, and storage is needed.</li><li>Input/output mapping: Plan how sensors connect to the computer system and ensure data flows correctly.</li><li>Processing-time expectations: Define how fast things need to happen from sensor to software.</li><li>Power, thermal, and EMC: Set limits and design for cooling, power, and reliable hardware in various environments.</li><li>Bring-up and fault injection: Lead initial setup, test for problems, and work with vendors to fix issues.</li><li>Vendor engagement: Manage relationships with computer part suppliers.</li><li>Partner with the Sensors &amp; Network System Owners: Balance coverage, bandwidth, timing, and compute headroom.</li></ul>We expect you to have:<ul><li>10+ years experience of designing or deploying compute platforms for autonomy/robotics/ADAS - including embedded and edge compute.</li><li>Strong grasp of data rates, input/output planning, memory/storage sizing, and practical thermal design.</li>Autonomous Driving software</ul>Nice to have:<ul><li>Safety (ISO 26262/SOTIF) touchpoints, EMC/thermal test exposure, fleet reliability analytics.</li></ul>Beyond the technical, we value:<ul><li>A naturally curious, humble, and creative mindset.</li><li>Good communication and collaborative team-working skills</li><li>The ability to thrive and contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative environment</li></ul>This is a full-time position based in Gothenburg or Stockholm.
