As a key member of the People Team, the goal of this role is to support the employee lifecycle while ensuring a productive and compliant work environment that supports the organization's overall goals. This involves handling a wide range of tasks including new hire orientation, making improvements in our Workday platform, as well as managing companywide engagement surveys and ensuring policy &amp; legal compliance. A key objective is to foster a positive company culture that boosts employee morale, engagement, and retention.   This is a hybrid work opportunity. At Wisk, this means working onsite at our Mountain View office 3 days per week with flexibility for the remainder of the days. What you will do:<ul><li>You will have a keen eye for detail assisting the people team improve our Workday platform notifications, data integrity, and electronic documentation.</li><li>You will support our summer internship program being a main point of contract for upwards of 30 interns.  You will communicate effectively with all interns prior to their arrival and throughout the program.</li></ul><ul><li>Oversee local employee, manager, contractor onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting orientations, partnering with IT on new hire equipment, &amp; preparing digital paperwork through Workday.</li></ul><ul><li>You understand the need for compliance around employee new hire documentation, I9s, eVerify, and work visas.  As well as other important documentation through the employee lifecycle.</li><li>You will help support problem solving requests coming through Jira tickets to the People team.</li></ul><ul><li>You will plan and execute employee engagement surveys as well as other surveys needed by the organization (onboarding, off-boarding, pulse surveys) with our new survey tool (Peakon).</li></ul><ul><li>You can easily pivot and transition working between projects and tasks.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>You have 5 years of hands-on experience working in a people function as an HRBP or HR Generalist within a company of approximately 600-1000 employees.</li><li>You have a deep and applied knowledge of Workday.</li><li>Bonus points if you have a SHRM or HRCI certification</li><li>You are comfortable working in organizations that are high growth &amp; global </li></ul>Compensation and Benefits:In addition to offering a great work environment and the opportunity to be part of the team making electric autonomous flight a reality, at Wisk, we offer excellent total rewards which include a competitive base salary, annual bonus, long term incentive, 401K, health benefits and much more.  Job Type: Full-timePay range the company expects to pay: $111,000 - $131,000 per year - The starting base salary within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location, and your relevant job-related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.We are committed to fostering diversity and inclusivity, and we encourage  individuals from all backgrounds, including those from marginalized or underrepresented groups in the tech industry and aerospace, to apply for our job openings.
