This role focuses on ensuring supplier readiness, production continuity, and issue resolution across development, launch, and production phases. You will work closely with global suppliers and internal teams to maintain program timelines, quality standards, and cost targets. You Will: <ul><li>Manage day-to-day supplier performance for Chassis, Powertrain, and Electronics components, ensuring on-time delivery and quality compliance. </li><li>Oversee supplier readiness activities, including tooling kick-off, part availability, and ramp-up planning. </li><li>Monitor and track supplier capacity, production schedules, and risk indicators to prevent disruptions. </li><li>Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier Quality to resolve technical and quality issues quickly. </li><li>Support change management processes, including engineering change implementation and cost impact tracking. </li><li>Ensure purchase orders and delivery schedules align with program milestones and production requirements. </li><li>Provide regular updates on supplier health, delivery status, and risk mitigation plans to leadership. </li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance performance and reduce operational risk. </li><li>Travel up to 15–25% for supplier visits, program reviews, and issue resolution. </li></ul>You Bring: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred. </li><li>5+ years of experience in supplier management, supply chain operations, or procurement for automotive or mechanical/electrical components. </li><li>Strong understanding of production processes, tooling, and capacity planning. </li><li>Proven ability to manage complex supplier relationships and resolve operational challenges. </li><li>Familiarity with product development cycles, quality systems, and change management processes. </li><li>Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. </li><li>Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or equivalent), Excel, and project management tools. </li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities. </li></ul> <div><div>Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
