This senior-level role is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving commercial negotiations to support Lucid’s Interior commodity portfolio. You will serve as a key interface between Engineering, Finance, Supplier Quality, and Manufacturing to deliver cost-effective, innovative solutions that meet program timelines and quality standards. You Will: <ul><li>Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for Interior commodities (e.g., seats, trim, cockpit modules), balancing cost, quality, delivery, and innovation. </li><li>Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business objectives and program requirements. </li><li>Prepare and issue RFQs/RFIs, analyze supplier proposals, and present sourcing recommendations to executive stakeholders. </li><li>Negotiate complex commercial agreements, including pricing, tooling, and non-recurring engineering (NRE) costs. </li><li>Drive contract development and ensure compliance with Lucid’s terms and conditions. </li><li>Manage purchase order issuance for prototype and production tooling, ensuring alignment with program milestones and budget targets. </li><li>Monitor supplier performance and escalate risks related to delivery, quality, or cost. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply challenges and drive continuous improvement. </li><li>Provide regular updates on sourcing status, cost tracking, and supplier health to internal leadership. </li><li>Travel up to 15–25% for supplier visits and program reviews. </li></ul>You Bring: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Finance; MBA preferred. </li><li>5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement for mechanical/electrical components. </li><li>Strong understanding of the full procurement lifecycle, including RFQ/RFI processes, cost analysis, and contract negotiations. </li><li>Proven ability to manage complex supplier relationships and drive cross-functional alignment across global teams. </li><li>Familiarity with product development cycles and quality systems. </li><li>Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems (SAP or equivalent), and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira). </li><li>Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and deliver results under pressure. </li></ul> <div><div>Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
