About the RoleWe’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our dynamic team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving the performance of plastic blow moulding equipment and robotic packaging automation systems. This is a hands-on role with scope for development and involvement in continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and attend to mechanical breakdowns</li><li>Work independently and collaboratively to support production goals</li><li>Use MEX Work Orders to scope, execute, and close out maintenance tasks</li><li>Partner with Electrical Trades personnel when required</li><li>Support production teams to ensure smooth operations</li><li>Contribute to safety, quality, and productivity improvements</li><li>Assist with spare parts inventory management</li><li>Apply fault-finding and diagnostic skills to resolve mechanical issues</li><li>Maintain a strong safety-first mindset in all tasks</li><li>Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to improve machine availability</li><li>Maximise labour efficiency and promote safe working practices</li></ul>
