Role OverviewThe Senior Manager – SAP will lead strategic SAP initiatives across the organization, ensuring seamless integration, modernization, and optimization of SAP systems including S/4HANA, IBP, and associated modules. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and business acumen to drive digital transformation, compliance, and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership<ul><li>Own and drive SAP roadmap including version upgrades, landscape modernization, and module adoption (e.g., IBP, Quality, Plant Maintenance)</li><li>Lead vendor evaluations and RFP processes for SAP projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and cost efficiency</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align SAP capabilities with organizational strategy and compliance needs (e.g., ITGC, SOD, audit)</li></ul>Project &amp; Delivery Management<ul><li>Oversee SAP implementation and enhancement projects including DR drills, automation initiatives (ATP, COPA, POSM), and new plant configurations</li><li>Manage internal and external teams for timely delivery of SAP solutions, ensuring adherence to SLAs and quality benchmarks.</li><li>Monitor and report on project milestones, risks, and performance metrics.</li></ul>Governance &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Ensure SAP systems meet security, audit, and regulatory standards through proactive controls and remediation (e.g., SAP.CTRL.006, SAP.CTRL.025)</li><li>Lead user access reviews, SOD conflict resolution, and role redesign initiatives in collaboration with audit and compliance teams</li></ul>Stakeholder Engagement<ul><li>Act as a key liaison between IT, Finance, SCM, Audit, and external partners.</li></ul><div></div>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum BE/B Tech</li><li>10+ years of experience in SAP project management, including S/4HANA and ECC environments.</li><li>Proven track record in leading SAP transformation initiatives across multiple modules (FICO, IBP, SD, MM, PM).</li><li>Strong understanding of SAP architecture, integration, and security frameworks.</li></ul><div></div>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Experience with SAP Treasury, MDG, BTP, and VIM.</li><li>Familiarity with audit frameworks and ITGC controls.</li><li>Vendor management and negotiation skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.</li></ul><div></div>Working Conditions<ul><li>Based in Bangalore</li><li>May require extended hours during critical project phases.</li></ul>
