As well as reconciling Inventory between system and physical and performing accurate data entry / record keeping. This role relies heavily on effective communication skills, time management / prioritization and accuracy. This is a temporary, 4-month contract position with the potential for extension based on business needs.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Process inbound &amp; outbound PO’s (verify and report errors to Team Lead/Supervisor), receive SCT (Supply Chain Transfer) into our ERP system.</li><li>Excellent time management skills, able to effectively communicate with various departments.</li><li>Data entry, record keeping, generation of reports, inventory investigation, and resolve inventory discrepancies.</li><li>Create and maintain SOPs.</li><li>Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking.</li><li>Perform inventory bin transfers physically (using Forklift) and electronically in our ERP System (through RF guns or computer).</li><li>Knowledge of cycle counts, receiving, order picking processes &amp; FIFO/FEFO.</li><li>May be assigned to other duties as required.</li></ul>EXPERIENCE<ul><li>Experience in packaging and/or a manufacturing environment is an asset.</li><li>Experience with ERP and MS Excel is recommended.</li><li>High School Diploma or GED preferred; must be proficient in math.</li><li>Valid First Aid Certification is an asset.</li><li>Able to work well and multitask in a fast-paced environment meeting deadlines while maintaining dedication to quality, safety &amp; accuracy.</li><li>Able to read, write, and speak in English.</li></ul>RELATED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES<ul><li>Hearing protection and steel toe shoes required (will be provided).</li><li>Forklift experience and certification is an asset</li><li>Ability to work in a cold environment.</li><li>Frequently standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, and twisting while transferring product.</li><li>Maneuver heavy objects, including lifting (floor to waist, waist to shoulders, and overhead) and carrying up to 30kg (approximately one to two hours a day)</li><li>Intermediate computer skills (MS Excel / ERP Systems), and recordkeeping.</li><li>Ability to follow safety rules, work under guidelines and attention to detail.</li></ul>DAIYA'S CORE COMPETENCIES<ul><li>Emotional Intelligence – You possess the ability to manage emotions, as well as seek to understand the emotions of others around you.</li><li>Growth Mindset – You find opportunities and possibilities when challenged, embrace continuous learning, and constantly strive to grow and improve.</li><li>Effective Communication – You effectively listen, assess, and adjust your communication to align your intention and impact.</li><li>Collaboration – You work with and through others to create great results for Daiya.</li><li>Driving Results – You take the initiative to find solutions, deliver results, maintain focus, and drive accountability.</li><li>Service Excellence – You understand and serve the needs of others (Daiyans, consumers, and our communities)</li></ul>COMPENSATION, BENEFITS &amp; PERKSDaiya’s compensation offerings are based on a pay-for-performance philosophy.
