<h3>About the Role</h3><p>We are looking for a hands-on Finance &amp; Operations Manager to oversee the financial and operational infrastructure that supports our growth. This role spans controllership, financial modeling, billing, payroll, board reporting, vendor management, and sales operations alignment.</p><p>You will partner directly with the CEO and cross-functional leaders to ensure financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and scalability. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is excited to build structure around complex, global operations.<br><br></p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><p><strong>Finance &amp; Controllership</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee billing, payroll, and month-end close for U.S. operations, coordinating with external accounting firms and auditors.</li><li>Manage financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts that support leadership visibility and decision-making.</li><li>Develop and maintain board materials, cash flow projections, and scenario models.</li><li>Support pricing strategy, margin analysis, and cost management across teams.</li></ul><p><strong>Operations &amp; Systems</strong></p><ul><li>Own and optimize financial and operational tools (accounting, payroll, billing, and expense management systems).</li><li>Manage vendor and customer negotiations, contracts, and payments.</li><li>Oversee implementation and maintenance of internal controls and process automation.</li><li>Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to manage revenue recognition, commission plans, and billing accuracy.</li></ul><p><strong>Cross-Functional Enablement</strong></p><ul><li>Partner with leadership to operationalize business priorities and align Finance and Ops with company strategy.</li><li>Maintain internal compliance frameworks across entities and ensure adherence to local and international standards.</li><li>Contribute to building a lean, scalable operational structure that supports future growth.</li><li>Support the CEO for board meeting and investor communications<br><br></li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (CPA or equivalent a plus).</li><li>5–8 years of experience in finance and operations, preferably within a SaaS or high-growth startup.</li><li>Strong understanding of U.S. payroll, compliance, and tax requirements.</li><li>Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and executive reporting.</li><li>Proven success managing software tools, vendors, and process automation.</li><li>Strong analytical and negotiation skills.</li><li>Comfortable working independently and across time zones in a global team.</li></ul><p></p><h3>What We Offer</h3><ul><li>Competitive salary depending on experience and location.</li><li>Opportunity to build the financial and operational foundation of a mission-driven climate tech company.</li><li>Collaborative and transparent culture with direct exposure to executive leadership.</li><li>Flexible, remote-first environment and a team passionate about impact and innovation.</li></ul>
