AECOM is seeking a Project Accountant to be based in Bogotá, Colombia.The responsibilities include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Has advanced knowledge of project accounting, providing support for the most complex and/or large scale projects. </li><li>Under general direction, makes recommendations for project improvement based on review of financial results and knowledge of project(s). </li><li>Researches general ledger account reconciliations, journal entry preparation and A/R cash adjustments. </li><li>Works with customers or clients to gather and provide information. </li><li>Reviews contracts for additional service opportunities and assist in converting project proposal into project budget.</li><li>Support administrative operations in Colombia and Peru.</li></ul>Treasury:Cash Flow Management<ul><li>Prepare and update cash flow projections.</li><li>Monitor daily inflows and outflows to ensure operational liquidity.</li><li>Coordinate bank transfers and payments to suppliers.</li></ul>Bank Administration<ul><li>Manage relationships with financial institutions.</li><li>Open, close, and maintain corporate bank accounts.</li><li>Negotiate financial conditions (rates, terms, credit lines).</li></ul>Payment Control<ul><li>Validate and execute domestic and international payments.</li><li>Supervise compliance with payment policies and authorizations.</li><li>Control recurring payments (payroll, taxes, services).</li></ul>Bank Reconciliations<ul><li>Perform periodic reconciliations between accounting records and bank statements.</li><li>Identify and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies.</li></ul>Investment and Financing Management<ul><li>Evaluate investment alternatives for liquidity surpluses.</li><li>Support the structuring of financing for projects or operational needs.</li></ul>Regulatory Compliance and Auditing<ul><li>Ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations.</li><li>Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.</li></ul>Financial Reporting<ul><li>Prepare treasury reports for management and headquarters.</li><li>Analyze financial indicators related to liquidity, debt, and profitability.</li></ul>
