We are committed to creating a respectful and inclusive work environment for all of our employees.&nbsp; As an equal opportunity employer, ABC is committed to ensuring that employees and applicants for employment have equal opportunities regardless of race, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, religion, physical or mental disability, medical condition, veteran status, marital status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or any other factor unrelated to the requirements of the position.</div><div>&nbsp;&nbsp;Position Requirements:&nbsp; Required:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, natural resources, or a related field or a degree in video production or communications with a demonstrated expertise in producing videos on bird conservation or nature-based programing.</li><li>3+ years of experience in communications, media production, or public engagement with a demonstrated conservation or science focus.</li><li>Proficiency in video production, photography, web design/management, and digital storytelling tools.</li><li>Strong writing and editing skills, especially for non-technical audiences.</li><li>Familiarity with social media platforms, especially YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.</li><li>Strong understanding of branding principles, including how to apply and adapt brand guidelines across multiple platforms and audiences; ability to work with diverse partners to ensure consistent messaging, support co-branded materials, and provide guidance on cross-branding strategies that respect and elevate each organization’s identity.</li><li>Experience using GIS platforms for storytelling (e.g., ArcGIS StoryMaps).</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with a wide range of partners.</li><li>Working knowledge of biological and ecological systems, especially migratory bird habitats.</li><li>Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Midwest for fieldwork and partner events.</li><li>All remote and hybrid employees are required to have a stable and high-speed internet service provider in place prior to beginning work for ABC. Our distributed work force relies heavily on cloud technologies, Zoom, and other automations to successfully complete our day to day work.
