The location for this position is Vaasa, Finland.    Your role and responsibilities:     As a Performance Engineer your work will include planning, preparing, and performing research engine tests, followed by post-processing and analysis of the measurement data, including communication of the outcome. You will work primarily with a multi-cylinder research engine, as well as occasionally with other types of combustion rigs, such as rapid compression expansion machine and optical spray combustion chamber, to compliment observed experimental trends. You’ll be working as a part of the Advanced Concepts team developing combustion systems and solutions for sustainable fuels aiming at decreasing the carbon footprint of large bore medium speed engines in the marine and power generation sectors.
