This is a pivotal role supporting our UK businesses through providing legal guidance across a wide range of commercial activities - from project bidding and procurement to contract execution and dispute resolution.You’ll be joining us at a transformative time, following the creation of a global Legal, Contracts &amp; Compliance function that’s opening new doors for growth, harmonisation, and innovation.What You’ll Be Doing<ul><li>Supporting bidding, negotiation, drafting, and dispute resolution in respect of major train manufacturing, signalling, construction and railway technology projects as required, with a particular focus on manufacturing and maintenance contracts (MSAs, TSAs, TSSSAs), PPPs, JVs/consortium agreements and supply chain contracts.</li><li>Collaborative working with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate legal, commercial, and reputational risks, working closely with contract managers in the team and other operational stakeholders.</li><li>Support the delivery of training, templates, tools and practices across the UK.</li><li>Provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice to stakeholders. Advice will include, for example, matters of regulation, construction, intellectual property, data protection, corporate law, M&amp;A, procurement, real estate, litigation and employment.</li><li>Ensure compliance with UK laws and regulations across commercial, corporate, and regulatory matters.
