You’ll contribute to a project focused on the reliability of HVDC stations, a key technology for long-distance, sustainable energy transmission. In this internship, you’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, gaining hands-on experience in statistical modeling and reliability engineering. The duration of the internship is 6–12 months. How you’ll make an impact <ul><li>Assist in researching and developing the reliability profile of HVDC station on the component level </li><li>Assist in developing and applying novel statistical and mathematical models for reliability analysis  </li><li>Developing and implementing stochastic reliability models for components in HVDC stations </li><li>Documenting and communicating the solutions developed to ensure knowledge transfer within the research team, academic cooperation partners and relevant business areas </li></ul>Your background <ul><li>Currently pursuing a M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering, power engineering, physics, applied mathematics, mechanical engineering or a related discipline (official enrolment is essential) </li><li>Familiarity with reliability engineering and related concepts </li><li>Understanding fundamental concepts in statistics and probability </li><li>Programing skills for data analysis and machine learning are a plus </li><li>Fluency in written and spoken English </li><li>Good communication and cooperation skills, creativity and the ability to work independently </li></ul>More about us   We are a technology-driven company with a strong focus on innovation, continuous improvement, and sustainable manufacturing.
