The candidate must be reliable and able to work well in a team and have experience with mechanical assembly.  <em>This is a 6-months temporary role with the opportunity to be converted to a regular role. </em></p><p> </p><h3>Job Responsibilities </h3><ul><li>Assemble battery components according to given specifications. </li><li>Test completed batteries to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.</li><li> Inspect materials and components for quality issues using tools such as micrometer, mass scale, digital multi-meter, and caliper. </li><li>Record production data and report any issues to the supervisor/manager. </li><li>Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets. </li><li>Operate and maintain assembly line equipment. </li><li>Troubleshoot minor technical issues with assembly equipment. </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment. </li><li>Follow company’s safety protocols. </li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p></p><ul> <li>Experience with (OR willingness to learn) using hand tools such as die punch, rotary tool, cutters. </li> <li>Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination. </li> <li>Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools. </li> <li>Basic understanding of assembly line processes. </li> <li>Basic computer skills for accurate data entry. </li> <li>Attention to detail and focus on quality. </li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. </li> <li>Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and workplace policies. </li> <li>Team work oriented mind-set. </li> </ul><p> </p><p><strong>Education, Certifications, Experience </strong></p><ul> <li>High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. </li> <li>One (1) year of experience as an equipment operator or technician in one of the following industries: Semiconductor, solar, battery, electronics, or automotive.</li> </ul><p> </p><p><strong>Physical Demands &amp; Work Location: </strong></p><ul> <li>Fremont, CA: This is an on-site job.
