You'll contribute to the design, prototyping, and validation of first-of-a-kind features of our battery electrodes. As a problem solver, you'll creatively tackle mechanical design challenges as we release components for high volume manufacturing and in-house automated assembly. You'll work with the rest of the electrode and cell design team to define verification plans, and craft test vehicles and experiments to verify and validate designs. Comfortable working in a prototype shop environment, your role will involve hands-on fabrication and assembly of prototypes, test fixtures and vehicles. Collecting data, drawing conclusions, and reporting out reliability, performance, and mechanical conclusions will also be a key part of this role.
