AECOM is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Ecologist to be based in our Pennsylvania office. This position is expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2026.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: <ul><li>Assisting the lead Ecologist/Wetland Scientist in performing stream, wetland, wildlife habitat assessments, and other ecological surveys.</li><li>Assisting ecological leads with processing field data and development/originating ecological assessment reports and utilization equipment such as tablets and GPS units.</li><li>Assisting with coordination of various governmental agencies regarding ecological survey protocols, reporting standards, or endangered and threatened species coordination.</li><li>Reviewing desktop information to complete environmental impact assessments.</li><li>Working with the team leads to become familiar with our field survey equipment, data forms and other data collection and reporting tools.</li><li>Assisting in preparing permit applications and other technical information.</li><li>Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer/scientist.</li><li>Uses computer software as a tool for data management and calculations.</li><li>Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.</li><li>Local travel is likely and U.S travel possible and project dependent.</li></ul>
