This position will report into the General Manager. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, coordinating cross-functional teams, and supporting strategic growth initiatives in the aviation sector.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement</li><li>Effectively convert confirmed customer orders into cash, while consistently meeting or beating commitments to customers and the corporation in terms of schedule, performance, and COGS</li><li>Set strategic goals and KPI’s for safety, operational efficiency, and increased productivity</li><li>Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements</li><li>Identify, analyze, and sustainably improve operational execution/predictability in those areas that are deemed most critical to maximizing business growth &amp; profitability</li><li>Drive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and uptime</li><li>Lead engineering initiatives to improve process efficiency and support capital projects</li><li>Ensure the factory floor is consistently clean, well-organized, and easily understood by those who work here and those who visit</li><li>Recruit, hire, train, manage, and develop operations staff in ways that create maximum competitive advantage for the business</li><li>Be an effective member of the Battery Products management team</li></ul> Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable</li><li>Seven (7) years related experience overseeing Operations in a Manufacturing environment</li><li>Strong knowledge of 6S and lean manufacturing and experience implementing these principles</li><li>Experience with ERP systems, knowledge of Infor XA is a plus</li><li>Proficient experience in Microsoft Office applications</li><li>Excellent oral, written and presentation skills</li></ul>  Salary Range: $120,300.00-$160,400.000Pay TransparencyThe anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
