We are seeking a skilled engineer to drive the development, configuration, and implementation of digital and automated control systems for heating and refrigeration applications. This role focuses on GEA Omni system integration, commissioning support, and digital connectivity via GEA Cloud®.Responsibilities / TasksSystem Integration &amp; Commissioning:<ul><li>Configure GEA Omni control systems and support system integration.</li><li>Prepare electrical drawings and control panel layouts.</li><li>Conduct software testing, FAT, and on-site commissioning.</li></ul>Development &amp; Standardization:<ul><li>Design hardware/software solutions aligned with GEA standards.</li><li>Collaborate on new features and control modules.</li><li>Support product development and testing phases.</li></ul>Digitalization &amp; Cloud Connectivity<ul><li>Ensure all Omni systems connect to GEA Cloud®.</li><li>Manage EULA processes and data protection documentation.</li><li>Track and report on digital connection targets.</li></ul>Project Support &amp; Knowledge Sharing:<ul><li>Assist sales and execution teams with new and retrofit projects.</li><li>Provide training and updates on Omni systems.</li><li>Promote standardization and continuous improvement.</li></ul>Your Profile / QualificationsQualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>National Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.</li><li>10 years' relevant experience in similar functions.</li><li>Siemens TIA Portal / PCS7, Rockwell Studio 5000, Schneider / Wonderware / AVEVA.</li><li>Industrial automation and control systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI, BMS).</li><li>Electrical/software contracting and instrumentation.</li><li>CAD, technical documentation.</li><li>Strong automation experience.</li><li>Understanding of Industrial Refrigeration, Electrical/Software Contracting operational processes and procedures.</li><li>Use of standards, safety regulations, testing requirements, etc.</li><li>Microsoft Office efficiency.</li><li>Good communication skills.</li><li>Problem solving and organizational skills.</li><li>Willingness to travel frequently.</li></ul>What we offer:<ul><li>Opportunity to work on cutting-edge digital solutions.</li><li>Collaborative and innovative team environment.</li><li>Exposure to global projects and technologies.</li></ul>Did we spark your interest?
