AECOM's New England Transportation group is actively seeking a highly motivated experienced Civil Engineer with experience in roadway and highway design. Responsibilities include:<ul><li>Develop and execute roadway design projects, including geometric design, drainage systems, and pavement design.</li><li>Create and implement Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plans to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow during construction phases.</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues throughout New England Region on highway/bridge infrastructure projects for multiple state, local and municipal clients.</li><li>Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support project designs and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.</li><li>Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects.</li><li>Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather data and assess existing conditions.</li><li>Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, environmental specialists, and construction managers.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of proposals, reports, and technical presentations for clients and stakeholders.</li><li>Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on project-related tasks.</li><li>Ensure quality control and adherence to project schedules and budgets.</li><li>Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in transportation engineering.</li><li>Participate in public meetings and stakeholder consultations to present project information and address concerns.</li><li>Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals from regulatory agencies.</li><li>Contribute to the continuous improvement of AECOM'S engineering processes and methodologies.</li></ul>
