Position Summary  

CTE is seeking a Communications Manager to bring technical proficiencies, strategic planning, and leadership to our growing communications team. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining a full suite of brand-conscious materials for CTE’s internal and external projects, including reporting templates, marketing collateral, digital newsletters, and more as our reputation as a national leader in successfully deploying clean transportation technologies grows. The Communications Manager will enrich and strengthen CTE’s brand across all communications activities of the organization, with particular emphasis on digital marketing and deliverable development. The ideal candidate will also have graphic design and web design and development expertise.

 

Position Responsibilities

  • Become well-versed in all aspects of the organization’s vision, mission, and programmatic execution
  • Work with leadership and staff to implement an integrated, strategic marketing approach to disseminate core messages, internally and externally
  • Ensure that priority issues and campaigns have a strong communications infrastructure
  • Execute the development, design, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic collateral including email newsletters, event invitations and materials, press releases, reports, brochures, social media, web pages, and any additional marketing collateral
  • Use CTE’s style guide to manage and standardize branding and design across all deliverables ensuring standards of appearance and content
  • Supervise 1-2 internal communications staff, including the management of PR efforts, including press release distribution, media inquiries, and media requests

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4+ years of full-time experience in design, marketing, or nonprofit communications
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email and web
  • Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation tools
  • Driven self-starter who works well independently but also with a team
  • Passionate about climate and clean transportation

Salary Range

·       $60,000 - $75,000
