Specialist will be responsible for implementing the Continuous Improvement (CI) program in the Dubois, PA manufacturing facility.  In this role, the incumbent will engage with members of the improving initiatives</li><li>Act as a change agent to the site, challenging norms, and implementing continuous improvement processes</li><li>Engage on the shop floor through regular gemba walks and interactions across all shifts</li><li>Enhance CI cultural maturity within the organization</li><li>Mentor training activities and certifications for the site</li><li>Calculate project savings and work with Controller to validate achieved LSS Savings</li><li>Lead cross-functional project teams across the facility both in shop floor and supporting operations</li><li>Conduct studies pertaining to cost control and cost reduction activities</li><li>Mobilize problem solving teams and supports groups to streamline processes</li><li>Facilitate rapid improvement kaizen events, including effective preparation and follow-up</li><li>Participate on multiple projects and apply continuous improvement techniques leveraging CI methodologies to solve problems and build new capabilities</li><li>Implement and share best practice benchmarks across the organization</li><li>Learn and develop mastery of CI concepts and tools</li><li>Additional duties and responsibilities may be required based on organization needs</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS: <ul><li>Required:<ul><li>BS Degree in Engineering or Technical field</li><li>3-5+ years’ experience working directly within a commercial manufacturing facility</li><li>CI training with demonstrated hands-on usage of common tools (8 waste, 5S, pareto, RCA, etc.)</li><li>Proven leadership skills to coach and manage teams to fully deliver chartered objectives and projects.</li><li>Experience managing complex projects, meeting set deadlines and budgetary requirements</li><li>Robust knowledge of computer platforms and standard MS office applications</li><li>Excellent communicator with the ability to create and present professional quality presentations and reports</li><li>Be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills for handling multiple tasks concurrently.</li><li>Ability to coach, mentor, and inspire individuals</li><li>Demonstrated experience with ensuring effective Change Management</li></ul></li><li>Preferred:<ul><li>Green Belt or Black Belt certification</li><li>1-3+ years in a supervisory role leading teams</li><li>1-3+ years of successfully executing continuous improvement / Lean / Six Sigma efforts and enabling efficiency, effectiveness resulting in demonstrable tangible financial benefit</li><li>Experience facilitating multi-day workshops including VSM, RCA, 5S, and Kaizen Rapid Improvement events.</li><li>Working knowledge of a P&amp;L and sound financial acumen</li><li>Experience training and certifying others in CI tools and
