In this context, we offer an internship position which provides the opportunity of working on real-world projects in an international team of research scientists.  How you’ll make an impact <ul><li>Contribution to the development of a MATLAB-based tool for fast design and optimization of magnetic components for power-electronics applications </li><li>Development of a computationally fast thermal core models based on finite element methods using very coarse meshes</li><li>Verification of the models in COMSOL Multiphysics </li><li>Optimization for computational speed  </li><li>Documentation of the models</li></ul>Your background<ul><li>Official enrolment in a MSc program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a similar discipline  </li><li>Knowledge of MATLAB, COMSOL Multiphysics, and the finite-element method is a strong plus </li><li>Enthusiastic, self-motivated mindset and ability to work independently </li><li>Highly conscientious individual with keen sense of responsibility </li><li>Fluent command of English, written and spoken </li><li>Duration: 6 months with possibility to extend, starting date: upon agreement </li><li>Due to Swiss law, for foreign non-EU/EFTA students, the internship must be a mandatory part of the study program </li></ul>More about usWe are a technology-driven company with a strong focus on innovation, continuous improvement, and sustainable manufacturing.
